The Piazza del Sole model has been conceived by the CIR food Group in order to enter the “fast food market”, but it has been adapted to accommodate the needs of customers favoring the freshness and genuineness of traditional Italian baked products. Many tasty kinds of pizza (from round individual pizza to single slices and squares), focacce (made following the best Italian regional traditional recipes) piadine (flat breads that can be plain or stuffed), and many other savory goods are prepared and served in these establishments. The secret of this model is the “on the premises” production: the use of frozen dough is indeed not allowed.

Piazza del Sole is a fresh, Mediterranean answer to the original American fast food restaurant and brings fast food back into the realm of healthy eating. In some cases, Piazza del Sole is a corner inside the RITA restaurant, adding to its selections.

Piazza del Sole is a restaurant that usually occupies between 40 and 70 square meters and it is particularly suitable for high traffic areas such as business and shopping districts, stations, and airports. It is a very flexible model and it can evolve to a complete fast food restaurant with a rich variety of gastronomic selections, occupying as much as 200 square meters with a capacity of 100 seats.
