Since 18/6/1997, CIR food has held certification attesting that its Quality Management System is in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001:1994. Since 13/6/2003 the Quality Management System has been in compliance with the revised UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, and from 29/6/2009, it has been in compliance with the latest version UNI EN ISO 9001:2008
CIR food’s Quality Management System is applied to all the processes in which the company is involved, from Purchasing Supplies to the Services Offered, from Supplier Evaluation to Customer Satisfaction Evaluation, and from Planning to Delivering of Service.
CIR food’s certified Quality Management System is extended to all the business activities in which the company is involved, and to all the production units, kitchens and catering facilities managed by the company in the national territory, including the Meal Vouchers services. Therefore, the certification extends to all new contracts for service managed by CIR food.

Since June 1999, pursuant to Legislative Decree nr. 155/97 and thereafter to comply with EC REG 852/04, and its subsequent amendments, CIR food has taken steps to implement and enforce its own Self Monitoring System - HACCP for food safety , based on the HACCP guidelines. The document and the operating instructions are an integral part of the UNI EN ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System.
