Since 1997, CIR food has been in possession of certification attesting that its Quality Management System is in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. This certification applies to all catering activities and the Meal Vouchers program marketed under the BLUTICKET brand.
From 1998, at some production sites, CIR food has started a certification process for the storage and distribution of organically farmed products and for preparing organic meals in compliance with EC REG 834/07, and subsequent amendments.
Since 2003 CIR food has obtained, in some kitchens, certification for its Environmental Management System, in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14001:2004.
Since 2006 CIR food has obtained certification for its own Self-Monitoring System, designed and built based on the HACCP system, as required by EC REG 852/04 and its subsequent amendments, in compliance with UNI 10854:1999
Since 2007, some of CIR food’s production areas have obtained certification attesting that CIR’s Food Safety System is in compliance with UNI EN ISO 22000:2005.
Since 2009, CIR has added to its certifications the one attesting its social accountability in compliance with SA8000.
Since 2010, CIR food’s own Occupational Health and Safety Management System has achieved certification to the BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 international standard, which applies to all food services, catering activities, and the BLUTICKET Meal Vouchers.
Finally, in 2011 CIR food obtained the UNI EN ISO 22005:2008 Traceability in Feed and Food Chain System Certification, which applies to the Meal Preparation Centre catering to schools and welfare/healthcare facilities.
All the systems mentioned above are integrated with each other to ensure the application of their standards in all different business areas in which CIR operates.
For the distribution of most raw materials, CIR Food Group uses a centralized platform: the distributor "Quanta Stock and Go srl". This key partner of the group has had its own certified Quality Management System (UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000) and its own certified Environmental Management System (UNI EN ISO 14001:2004) since 2002.
