In line with the co-operative’s social mission based on solidarity and the centrality of the person, the project UNIAMOCIR is based on CIR food Group decision to actively support the families of patients suffering from rare diseases. In the last three years CIR food has been a financing partner of UNIAMO, Onlus Italian Federation which is dedicated to protect the right of patients suffering from rare diseases, raising funds through events very often sponsored by the Ministry of Health.
CIR food has contributed with independent donations and also with funds collected on its business premises during events involving:
Among the benefit events, we would like to mention the three workshops sponsored by CIR food ( 2004 - 2005 - 2006)
Donations were collected also during the benefit football matches sponsored by CIR food and played from 2004 to 2007 between the teams Inviati della Solidarietà and Giornalisti TV
It was with great satisfaction that on March 23, 2005, Ivan Lusetti, President of CIR food Group and Lamberto Sposini, President of the Associazione Inviati della Solidarietà, in front of Girolamo Sirchia, former health minister, announced that the goal to raise 50,000 Euro had been successfully accomplished.

The money was presented to Loredana Nasta – President of UNIAMO the Italian Federation for Rare Diseases Onlus – who conveyed her praise for the achievement and declared that the money would go to actively finance the urgent needs of patients suffering from rare diseases whose families can not afford the healthcare costs which in many cases are very high and unavoidable.
Achieving that goal represented for CIR a new starting point and it contributed to the decision to sponsor events benefiting this Federation for many more years.
This is a list of the most important objectives that the UNIAMO FIMR onlus federation has reached thanks to CIR food donations: 2 new projects approved by the Ministry for Social Solidarity (ex Welfare):
