Thanks to its presence in 14 Italian regions and to the strength of it operating areas and the Section Committees members, CIR food can count on a laudable effort from all its members-employees to organize several public interest activities and participate in social projects.

Some of the major solidarity actions held in territories where CIR food operates during the year 2008 are:

  • Participation in projects to build homes for families, especially in Third World Countries
  • Childen Sponsoring
  • Fundraising in favor of Cernobyl children
  • Donation of medical equipment and fundraising for hospitals
  • Scholarships
  • Solidarity dinners with charities lottery
