On March 21st, in all of Italy, we celebrate the Day of remembrance and commemoration in memory of the victims of the Mafia.
CIR food adheres to the initiative by inserting in the menu of the hospitals in the city of Bologna (AUSL and Rizzoli Ortopedic Institute) and in the towns of Bazzano and Loiano, dishes made with Organic Semolino Pasta produced by social cooperatives that adhere to the “ Free Land”, in full compliance with the Sicilian Pasta producers.
“Free. Associations, names, and numbers against the mafia” is a group of 1500 associations that intend to urge the civil society to fight against the mafia and promote law and justice. Right on land confiscated from the mafia, the social cooperatives “ Free Land” produce typical local products such as pasta, olive oil, legumes, wine, tomato sauce, fruits and vegetables, grown from the labor of those who commit themselves to promote legality and social justice.
