Il Giornale del Cibo is a new on-line publication for Internet surfers, as well as the general public. At the website www.ilgiornaledelcibo.it consumers will find polls, forums, informative columns (on local and international cuisine, news, information on restaurants and festivals, cooking lessons, bon ton advice, proverbs and jokes on food), gastronomic trips and recipes ( interactive sites that only require free registration), expert opinions and cooking courses, for a total of over 20 articles.

Born from the cooperation between CIR food and Patrizio Roversi, Il Giornale del Cibo offers an opportunity to rediscover food appreciation and good cooking traditions and gives a voice to people who are trying to bring quality and emotion back to food since they are too often sacrificed to the fast rhythms of modern life.

Martino Ragusa is Il Giornale del Cibo chief editor, and he also writes for Patrizio Roversi’s sites. CIR food is the publisher. The intent is to become a cultural center for the culinary world offering an instrument that easily deals with the huge amount of information available about food and nutrition. The site would like to create and nourish a virtual community discussing quality and good taste, where surfers can be actively involved, ask questions and interact using many of the website’s features.
